Here's a gallery of pictures that were taken when we were still meeting in person! All of them are from 2018-2020, I believe. Thank you Madylene for sending them to me!
None of these are cropped, but they are downsized so they don't take up the whole page. right click/tap and hold + open image in new tab to see the full picture, if you will! I added some captions to some of them for more context, too. Faces are blurred both because we don't want our faces there for everyone to see, and because some of them have people who are not currently in our troop and have not consented to having their image online.
This is from when we went to see shear madness at the Kennedy Center in November 2019!
That's us sometime in spring 2019, ft. someone who is no longer in the troop lol. Black shirt is my best friend Alex (who is the person who is no longer in the troop in question), mint green shirt is me (Charlie!), and blue shirt is Madylene! In the first one we're planting seeds at Madylene's house for our sow what? journey! I can't rememeber what the other two were planting, but I was planting cucumbers, and they grew! I got an entire cucumber to eat just from rainwater and sunshine! And that's amazing! In the second picture, we were drawing something for... something, I can't remember what. I remember coloring in lots of squares on mine.
Here we're making pizzas in sometime early 2019! It was also for out sow what? journey. I can't remember who's pizza was whose, but the last one is mine, and I was trying to make it look like King Dedede, from the Kirby games. Inspired by an image that found elsewhere. Look up "surely you yeastin" on google and you'll find it!
Here we're doing... something. I think it was Rube Goldberg machines for our think like an engineer badge, but it could've been something different, because there were engineering projects with goals for practical use. too.
Here we're doing paint pouring! Which we liked so much that we ended up doing it a second time.
Here I believe we were doing something for our cybersecurity badge.
